A home based cattery, nine years in
KFBear Ragdolls and Purricurls American Curls started in 2016. We are registered with both TICA and CFA, and we still run the whole thing out of our own house.
Small on purpose
We plan a limited number of litters each year and keep back only the kittens that can compete. That means waiting lists are real and sometimes long, and it also means we know every kitten by name and habit before it goes home.
Raised in the family
There are no cages here. Queens raise their litters in the quiet part of the house and move out to the living room once the kittens start climbing. They are handled every day, and they learn the litter box, the scratching post and the nail clippers with us.
Health first
Every cat we breed is DNA tested for 49+ genetic mutations and diseases, HCM and PKD included. Kittens leave with a five year genetic health guarantee, age appropriate vaccines, a deworming record and a vet check.
Food they can adapt to
Our cats eat homemade raw alongside regular wet and dry food. Kittens grow up on both, so you can keep feeding what works for your household without a hard transition.
We believe in quality over quantity, breeding fewer kittens with exceptional quality rather than more kittens of average quality.
