Retired adults
Grown cats, ready for a quieter house
Most of our cats retire between four and six years old. They leave spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and already trained on scratching posts, nail clippers and a litter box.
What a retiree is like
Fully grown, so no guessing about size or coat
Used to people, kids and other cats
Calmer than a kitten and usually cheaper
Needs a week or two of quiet to settle in
How to apply
Retirees are placed by application, not first come first served. Tell us about your home and we match the cat to it. We stay in touch after placement and take a cat back at any point in its life if things change.
